The valve remains normally open under standby conditions. In case of a fire, the smoke detector sends an electric signal (DC 24 V) via the control center. The electromagnet inside the actuator is energized for action, the valve closes automatically and outputs a closed electric feedback signal.
The valve can be manually closed, or automatically closed via fusible link action at 70°C.
It is equipped with a 6‑gear air volume adjustment switch.
Common smoke & fire dampers require manual reset, while fully automatic types adopt DC electric driving reset after actuation.
