The valve remains normally closed under standby conditions. In case of a fire, the smoke detector transmits an electric signal (DC 24 V) via the control center. The electromagnet inside the actuator is energized to actuate, enabling automatic opening of the valve with an opening feedback signal output.
After operation, the valve is reset driven by a DC motor. It can also be manually opened and manually reset on site.
