It is installed in smoke extraction systems and kept normally closed at ordinary times. In case of a fire, the smoke detector sends an electric signal (DC 24V) via the control center. The electromagnet inside the actuator operates upon power excitation, and the valve opens automatically with an opening feedback signal output. The valve can also be manually opened and manually reset.
